Being a parent of a 6 yr. old child in 1st grade with a diagnosis of S.P.D. and A.D.H.D. and not knowing where to begin. We found Dove Rehab, who came highly recommended to us by a friend.
It has been a Blessing to our entire family to have some place and someone (Miss Renee) who understood our son and his different abilities.
We have been attending Dove for 3 yrs. now. Our son is now 9 yrs. old and in 4th grade. His grades are good. We have seen improvements in his behavior issues as well. He has begun to better control impulse to do behavior that is dangerous for himself and others. Also he has a better understanding now to listen to what is requested of him, which did not happen in the past. He knows the difference of what and why consequences happen when he does not follow directions.
We have also improved his diet with suggestions from Dr. Fred and also supplements to help aid in proper development of health.
